West Annapolis Kitchen

Often in our kitchen remodeling projects we are opening the kitchen up, not so in this West Annapolis kitchen. The owner and avid cook preferred to keep her kitchen as her private haven. This kitchen isn’t turning its back on the living room is embracing the views of the back yard, through the existing large windows that look out to the wooded retreat of a backyard. The new kitchen layout created an island to house the Jenn air cooktop and provide a great place to eat a casual breakfast. The adjacent informal dining area was enhanced with a full wall of cabinets that can act as a breakfast bar in the morning and as a sideboard or buffet in the evenings. The glass doors of the wall cabinets are lit form the interior to accent the owner’s glassware and add some sparkle to the room. The cabinets throughout are by Brookhaven in the Edgemont Square Recessed panel door style in their Nordic White. The eye catching counters and stone slab backsplash are made of River White granite.
